Creative Edinburgh will be attending ScreenSkills' Edinburgh Mentoring Roadshow. We'll have a stand before and during the event, getting to know the folks in attendance. 

This is a great opportunity for creatives working across film, TV, games, animation and VFX to learn more about ScreenSkills and the ScreenSkills Mentoring Network.

"Come to our Mentoring Roadshow to learn about the ScreenSkills Mentoring Network and how getting involved – as a mentor or a mentee – could benefit your career. We’re inviting people from across film, TV, games, animation and VFX to attend, hear about the scheme, network with key players from the industry and experience a mentoring taster session.

This event is open to all career levels and is being held at the City Chambers, Edinburgh, EH1 1YJ. You don’t need to be an expert to become a mentor and whether you’re new to the industry, returning after a break (for example, as a parent or carer) or an experienced professional, you could still benefit from finding a mentor to share experience and knowledge with.

• Seeing things from another’s perspective
• Increasing your network
• Giving and receiving feedback
• Developing communication skills
• Learn from the ideas and experiences of someone who is different from you
• Using your creativity
