About the Event
Through presentations and panel discussions, this session will explore the key elements of the Connected Innovators funding programme, including:
- The value of taking time out of creative practice for R&D
- What leadership looks like within the creative industries
- How data-driven innovation can advance creative careers and businesses
We’re inviting folks from across the creative industries with experience in these areas to lead these conversations. This session will be interactive, encouraging your comments, questions and involvement throughout.
If you’re thinking about applying for Connected Innovators, join us as we explore the programme over the course of the morning. We hope to see you there!
Please note, this is the first of two events we’re running. Connected Innovators Workshop: Writing a Funding Application will take place on Friday 8th May 2020 and will help with budgeting and filling in the application form. After that event, there will be one-to-one slots available with team members from Creative Edinburgh and Creative Informatics for you to explore your application further.
If you'd like to discuss your idea one-to-one in the meantime, get in touch with us at email@example.com and we can arrange a time.
What is Connected Innovators?
Delivered by Creative Edinburgh, Connected Innovators is an opportunity for emerging leaders in the creative industries with an idea, practice, business, or approach to apply for funding for research and development or professional development. Successful participants will receive financial support and facilitated peer support to complete R&D projects and/or professional development around data and data-driven innovation. Connected Innovators is seeking leaders with social impact at the heart of their practice, the results of whose research will be shared across Edinburgh’s wider creative community.
Connected Innovators Events are open to anyone working in the creative industries in Edinburgh and South East Scotland.
